Occultation and Transit of Io

This animation is constructed from images taken on the nights of 9-10 May 2008

Equipment - Peltier cooled C14 and Lumenera Skynyx 2-0

Astronomiks Type 2 RGB filters

The moon that can be seen on both occassions is Io. In the early part of the animation Io is just returning from being occulted, and then later is transits the planet.

Notes - this animation is a bit sloppy and I am searching for an animation program that will do a better job.
