NGC 1365 Image taken at Clayton Bay, South Australia Equipment - GSO 8" RC, with QSI583WSG and Takahashi flattener Guiding - QSI Off Axis Guiding and Orion Star Shoot Autoguider. LRGB -90 75 65 65 Darks, flats and biases applied Processed in CCD stack and Photoshop CS3 Object - A dramatic galaxy that has great scale. It lies at a distance of 56 million light years in the constellation of Fornax. Many other fainter galaxies adorn the field too. Notes - This is part of a current project. I am planning on capturing over double the amount of data that I have currently on this target. There is still some trouble with the star shapes but the guiding seems to be working now.
