Image taken 21 February 2009 from Clayton Bay, South Australia Equipment - Takahashi TSA102S, flattener with Astro 40D camera by Central DS Guiding - ED80 with Star Shoot auto guider on Takahashi EM400 mount. 10 x 25 minute subs Flats, darks and bias's applied Processed in Images Plus and Photoshop CS3 Notes - I am very happy with this image. It is the longest run of exposures I have ever taken. Constituting 4.1 hours of data. Guiding was just a little off, but overall I am very happy with this image.. Information note - This nebula is located in Carina. Considered to be a bright nebula. |
