NGC4945

Image taken 28 June 2009, at Clayton Bay, South Australia

Equipment - GSO 8" RC, Takahashi flattener with Astro 40D camera by Central DS

Guiding - ED80 with Orion Star Shoot autoguider on Takahashi EM400 mount.

16 x 10 minute subs

Darks, flats and biases applied

Processed in Images Plus and Photoshop CS3

Notes - Reflections have now been removed with the baffle modification. This image either needs a lot more data or longer subs with this camera. Pretty happy with this image overall.

Target details: NGC 4945 is a barred spiral galaxy which is located in the constellation of Centaurus. It has a very low surface brightness.
